Learning Objectives:
At the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:
- Identify muscles involved in upper trunk brachial plexus birth injuries and subsequent maladaptive postures of the upper extremity
- Identify two musculoskeletal sequelae associated with BPBI and the accepted, conservative treatment options available for timely referrals.
- Apply the crucial care timeline to their future patients with BPBI to ensure best care deadlines are met in the first four years of life.
- Identify three conservative care measures available to patients with BPBI when a timely referral is placed.
- Describe one radiographic and two clinical findings consistent with glenohumeral dysplasia (GHD) / posterior humeral head dislocation (PHHD).
- Describe at least one nerve and one surgical procedure available to patients with BPBI.

The Pediatric Case Reviews is a series of monthly live online case presentations of pediatric upper extremity diagnoses. Each month a case will be presented to include a brief description of the diagnosis, objective findings, and therapeutic interventions. The presenter will also discuss their clinical decision-making process and how they navigated any challenges.
