As the chair of the 36th Annual ASHT Meeting, I would like to thank the 2013 Annual Meeting Committee, ASHT staff and all those who have submitted content for the this year’s meeting. We are thrilled to join you in world-renowned Chicago, Ill. for a program full of leading methods and ideas on how to implement evidence in your daily practice.
This year’s meeting will be held October 24-27 in the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. I invite you to participate in all the conference has to offer! Specifically, I encourage you to take advantage of the invaluable instruction slated in this year’s pre-conference and post-conference sections. The post-conference section is new this year and promises to offer practical instruction by leading presenters.
Within the general program, you and I will have the opportunity to hear from the leaders of our professional organization and participate in ASHT division directed sessions on developing and managing practices and updates on pivotal legislative matters presented by ASHT/AOTA, and APTA. Additionally, the program is replete with the research and efforts of ASHT members from across the country who have invested time in providing instructional sessions that discuss how to implement evidence.
